there's just something about it that makes you frightened, yet fascinated at the same time. it's astonishing to know that everywhere someone's heart is pumping, someone's dreams are unfurling, someone's just alive and being.
however, i can't help but fall in love with it and the feelings it brings you.
our first day there was extremely rainy, this was at night at around 10. Times Square is in the background.
a flooded drainage place.
the next day you could see the blossoms were just coming out on the trees. (behind is Freedom Tower, where the World Trade Centers used to be.)
we were going to take the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, but the line was full of tourists from other far away and it would be at least 4 hours long so we didn't bother.
sunglasses i got from a street seller that were $5. yay for fake Ray Bans!
squirrels are everywhere in New York, along with pigeons.
times square. (trying tilt-shifting)
we went to some famous restaurant called Carnegie Deli and it had lots of pictures of celebrities who have been there with their autograph. they had so much meat, i think i'll never eat the same way again.
i was tired, but Central Park the next day was perfect.
