I've been fortunate enough to be able to experience the holidays in the city many times because my parents loved to take us here during winter break. The best part was introducing my friends to the beauty of the city during a time of such hectic, tourist-y bustle.
These next photos were taken the night after Moorea and I waited 18 hours in the cold December streets for SNL tickets. The adventure was a success, and we managed to check off seeing a live taping of SNL off of our bucket lists. Before the show at 30 Rock, we took our friends to Radio City and took photos of the beautiful lights.
The most surreal part was being here with all my friends, thinking about how little sophomore me took her last few 365 project photos in this exact place. And how ever then, I was dreaming about living in the city and going to college here...now that it's reality it's absolutely incredible.
While waiting for my friend to meet me at the Guggenheim, I spent some time people watching and taking photos.
I swear the city in the rain is from a watercolor-y dream.
Photos of Jana in front of her NYU dorm.
For my project in my design class, I went to Little Italy and had to document the experience/take pictures. It was so quaint and the cannoli I had was absolutely incredible.
It's been a long time since I've done self portraiture. The morning I took this one was lovely, the rays of sunlight slipping through the slits of our blinds woke me up and I knew I had to take a photo.
